Summer is nearly here and school is almost out! It’s the season to take some time off and travel.
Going on vacation is a great way to relax, spend time with your family and try new things. Sometimes the hardest part about going on vacation is choosing from all the options. We want to help you pick a travel destination that will become a vacation to remember.

1) GROS MORNE NATIONAL PARK, Newfoundland
Carved by glaciers this park will remind you of a fantasy movie or your favorite outdoor magazine. There are plenty of back-wood trails and unexplored areas to hike in and there’s even boat tours that take you up the cliffs of freshwater fjords.
2) ST. ANDREWS BY-THE-SEA, New Brunswick
This year some huge renovations to the Algonquin Resort will be completed, making this area one-of-a-kind in Canada. Not only that but the city is a wonderful combination of small-town charm with world-renowned class.
3) THOUSAND ISLANDS NATIONAL PARK, Ontario
Just looking at this place makes you feel more relaxed. This national park is a beautiful place to get away from it all. The park also makes it easy to camp and lodge easily.
4) NAHANNI NATIONAL PARK, Northwest Territories
If you’ve ever wanted to see the aurora borealis, this is the place to go. Data shows that the aurora is most visible for more days of the year in this park than anywhere else. It also has spectacular waterfalls and mountains.
5) PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND NATIONAL PARK, Prince Edward Island
This park is historically famous by being the location of the classic novel Anne of Green Gables. It also has wonderful beaches, dunes and lighthouses that make for a great family friendly vacation destination.
6) PACIFIC RIM NATIONAL PARK RESERVE, British Columbia
This awesome park is part of the world’s only temperate rainforest – the only rainforest in North America. In addition to the beautiful tree this Pacific Rim park has great coastal trails and islands to explore.
7) BANFF NATIONAL PARK, Alberta
This was Canada’s first national park and you’ll understand why when you visit. This park has hosted thousands of photographers who have tried to capture the magnificent beauty of the snow-capped peaks. There’s also no lack of fun outdoor activities to do here either.[:]
