Chief Executive OfficerGraham’s extensive and impressive experience in the security and home automation industry exceeds thirteen years. During this time, Graham had the opportunity to work for two of the largest and most prominent security organizations: Apx Alarm (currently known as “Vivint”) and Pinnacle Security. Graham’s tenure with Apx began with him working as a sales representative, but evolved swiftly with him managing four offices during his final year with the company in 2008. Shortly thereafter, Graham became a Regional Manager at Pinnacle Security. Graham utilized his considerable leadership and sales attributes that he had developed to form his own security and home automation organization. Graham formed the Fluent organization (previously known as “Titan Alarm”) in Edmonton, Alberta in 2011. Establishing this business in Alberta had special personal meaning to Graham as he was born in Camrose, Alberta. In addition to his work in the security and home automation industry, Graham derives infinite satisfaction from being able to share the good fortune that he has been the beneficiary of and in furtherance of this aspiration, he has established charity funds and projects in countries around the world, including Honduras, Kenya, Vietnam, Phillipines, Dominican Republic and more.
PresidentKimberly started in the security alarm industry in 2007 as an Employee Relations Manager at Pinnacle Security. At Pinnacle Security she worked along side current Fluent President, Graham Wood and other industry professionals. She has continued her connection with Graham throughout the years and has been a valuable asset wherever she goes. With over 8 years of industry experience, including roles in Sales Operations Manager and Director of Operations, and most recently as Senior Business Analyst, Kim is an indispensable manager and efficient director for Fluent Home.
Chief Financial OfficerShawn’s extensive fifteen years of experience in commercial banking is a great asset to the company. Shawn recently held the position of Senior Vice President at AmericanWest Bank, where he oversaw funding and acquisitions for many home security companies. He transitioned to the Fluent team to manage finance and accounting as well as capital raising efforts for Fluent Home. Shawn holds a Masters of Business Administration from Arizona State University and a BS in Finance from Brigham Young University.
Chief Operating OfficerOmar joined Fluent in 2012 after having worked 10 years with Vivint. At Vivint, he served as National Inventory Manager and then as Purchasing Director, managing over $300 million in yearly spending. With the knowledge and experience he gained during this time he has become an integral part of the Fluent organization. Omar holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Philosophy from Brigham Young University, as well as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) and Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification from the Institute for Supply Management. He also served honorably in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer with the Utah National Guard and later on as a Civil Affairs Specialist in the Army Reserve’s Psychological Operations Command.
President of SalesShalev’s nine years of experience working in the security industry includes his successful tenures managing sales teams at some of the largest security organizations. Shalev’s aptitude and managerial talent were immediately apparent at the beginning of his career when he became the leading first year manager in his first year in the industry. This success was followed by rapid and exponential advances including attaining the designation of top manager and top regional manager when working with these companies prior to Fluent Home. In addition to his highly impressive security industry work experience, Shalev also served in the military for three years, demonstrating the same level of leadership that he has been recognized for in the business community. Awarding the title of Fluent’s President of Sales in 2012 to Shalev was a natural progression. In this capacity, Shalev supervises and trains the company’s sales teams to provide an unparalleled experience for our valued customers. Since he first assumed the role of President of Sales, Shalev has consistently strived to inspire the company’s sales force to share his vision of maintaining the core values of the Fluent Home organization.
VP of InstallationMichael first started with Fluent in 2011 as an Installation Technician with no previous alarm experience. He quickly became one of the company’s top first years and was recognized for it. In 2012, he earned the right to run the #1 office in North America as a Lead Technician and in 2013 he was the company’s Inaugural Tech Warz winner beating out all the other technicians in the company to earn the top prize. In 2014, Fluent promoted Michael to Vice President of Installations which he has served for the last few years. Michael is a prime example of the opportunities for advancement regardless of experience. Michael’s rapid rise is due to his hard work, great attitude, and ability to adapt.
President of Dealer DivisionIn his current role, Maxime is focusing on building/ growing the Dealer Division and on developing new avenues of growth for the home automation and security business, including establishing new business partnerships and sales channels. When he initially joined Fluent, Maxime was responsible for creating a new and innovative dealer model and establishing this new Division. Prior to joining Fluent, Maxime was VP of Sales at Protectron from 2009 to 2015. While at Protectron, Maxime team delivered exceptional growth using a multi sales channel strategy which significantly exceeded the monitored security industry standard. This superior growth combined with very low attrition ultimately resulted in the sale of the Company at a premium valuation (approx. $550M). Maxime holds a Bachelor of Commerce from HEC in addition to being a CFA holder.
