Last year at this time we looked back at an amazing 2015. We mentioned how everything in 2015 was setting up for an even bigger 2016 and this past year didn’t disappoint.
We’ve seen so many changes here at Fluent in the past 12 months. Every change has brought us closer to our goal of being the best, most customer-friendly security company in North America.
Here are a few of the amazing things we introduced and accomplished this year at Fluent.
Growth & Progress
The 2016 summer season ended as one of our most successful to date. We secured more homes than ever this year thanks to our amazing team of smart home experts and support staff.
Our customer base grew 37% in 2016! We welcomed dozens of local Fluent security dealers across Canada and opened offices in areas such as Quebec and Ontario. Our operations and sales in the United States continues to expand and grow.
Awards & Recognition
We were very happy and proud this year to be recognized by several organizations for our customer service and company growth. These awards are a demonstration of our commitment bring the best service to all members of the Fluent Family.
In 2016 we were awarded the Silver Stevie Award for Social Responsibility, 2 Bronze Awards from Best in Biz for social responsibility and customer service We were nominated for the International Service Excellence Awards and also received the Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies and the inContact Mojo award for Best Customer Experience.
In 2016 we made huge changes to our product lineup. We found new partners, developed new processes and built new technology all in an effort to bring you the very best smart home and security equipment in the industry.
There were many new products in 2016 but 3 were standouts from the rest. The brand new GC3 security panel, the Fluent Doorbell Camera and the wireless indoor camera. Each of these products brought new, exciting ways to use your security system and improved the functionality and security of your smart home.
New Mobile App
Another addition to the Fluent Home system was our brand new, custom-built smart home app. This mobile application powered by alarm.com was created to control every aspect of your home. This app, combined with Fluent equipment can turn any house into a smart home.
From the mobile app you can arm or disarm your system, unlock doors, turn on lights and view live video feeds. Check who’s at your front door with the mobile app and doorbell camera. View and pay your bill right from your phone or tablet and much more! There are so many amazing features we packed into this app that you have to see it for yourself. Stay tuned in 2017 for more exciting updates and improvements to the Fluent smart home app.
Another amazing new part of Fluent in 2016 was our introduction of the Fluent Guarantee. Fluent began with a commitment of providing the best support and service to all our customers. We wanted to set ourselves apart from competitors by truly caring about our customers. The Fluent Guarantee was another way of differentiating ourselves and improving your experience.

#fluentcares Charity Project
Finally, finishing of 2016 on a truly high note, we traveled around the world to Vietnam for our annual #fluentcares charity project. This year marked our largest charity project to date with more participants, more projects and a larger impact than ever.
